Im so sad right now I literally feel like dying tears rolling down my eyes I feel so weak because of how sad I am.

What happened?

I left Talk cockatiels I really dont feel welcome there im always attacked and it was something Enigma said the just made me cry it made be so upset.I think shes very mean and shes been doing it for months and nobody notices it.And then everybody else complaining saying Rocko and Loki's new cage is too small and im just crying while replying.

That's too bad. For a long time there's been a problem with people being abused over there, which is why I dropped out for two years. Nobody abused me, but I didn't like the way that other people were being treated. So first I resigned from being a moderator in protest, then a few months after that I left completely because they were still being too harsh sometimes. It's something that can't be stopped - I really really tried to get them to clean up their act. But there are some major people there who have good intentions overall and want to help people, but basically can't recognize when they're being too harsh. I've gone back a little bit now but I'm intentionally not getting too involved because I don't have any confidence that people will be treated nicely.

We don't have that kind of problem here, and there are a lot of other nice groups out there too. So cheer up, you've got other options for hanging out with bird people, and if you look around you'll find a new group that you're happier with.

Thats what I said I never have any problems here everyone is just nice and help out.

Now that there's been some time to calm down, I wanted to mention that your own behavior makes a difference in the quality of the conversation too. I'm not too involved in TC and don't see everything that happens there, but I've seen you make your share of negative comments about other people.

The way people react to somebody is influenced a lot by the way the other person treats them, so it's really easy to set off a cycle where two people constantly snipe at each other because they don't like the way the other person has treated them in the past. It's not always easy to break the cycle but it's possible to try. You can always say "Look, I know we haven't gotten along well in the past and we've both contributed to that, but can we call a truce? I'll try to be nicer to you if you try to be nicer to me." And then do it.

If one person slips and says something nasty, the other one can say "Hey, that was kind of harsh. Let's not start a fight, OK?" instead of hitting back with something nasty. The people reading the conversation will tend to side with the person who's being nice not the one that's being nasty.
