This is a continuation of the old Perfect Polly thread at viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1881

We talked about other birds including Digibirds and Little Live Pets, which at the time were basically unavailable in the US and ridiculously expensive. Well times have changed - the prices have come down and they're easily available at places like Target and Toys R Us. So I gave myself an after-Christmas treat and bought a Little Live Pet bird and a couple of Digibirds. They're both seriously cute, and more fun than Perfect Polly. But unlike Perfect Polly, Stephen Colbert didn't do a hilarious bit about them.

The Little Live Pet is more interactive - you pet it to make it sing and talk, and can record one phrase of your own choosing for it to say. But I'm having more fun with the Digibirds. They move more and you can make them sing together in a choir, which is pretty funny.

Aww, how cute. I was 16 back then.

Sorry, but I am still rather fond of Perfect Polly. I still have her! She's sitting in my room. I see her all the time. I really like that Clever Keet by Little Live Pets, but he's $50... I could get 2 REAL budgies for that price.
