Im Sad because I don't think ill ever get over Rio I loved that little ball of feathers and I think about him every single day but I'm happy for him but the thing I hate is how so many people know I gave him away and some people think I swapped him for Mango and some people think I treat my birds like toys because I like to buy them Flight Suits and hoodies.You all know why I like to have 3 birds and that is so the third is bonded to me and Rio was so why would I swap him for another untamed bird who isn't.

We all get sad over our birds/pets....
As you get older you'll realise what is done is done....
As long as he is happy that's what matters...
A hard lesson parting with a pet and having regrets...
concentrate on the ones you have....

Its hard but sometimes its whats best. I rehomed a bird b4 i did what i thought was best 4 her. I still regret ut but i try n focus on zorro n making sure i never gotta do that to him.

I know I did what was best I just don't like people saying I swapped him for Mango when that isn't true.

I gave a budgie away over a year ago. The dynamics in the flock just weren't what I wanted. I had a neighbor who used to have a cockatiel (who died) and thus had an empty cage. I was telling her about the dynamics I didn't like, and she said she would take one of the budgies. So, I gaveSnowy to her, as he was the one that seemed to be fitting in less well.

A few months later, I had had to separate the first budgie from the cockatiels (after I gave Snowy away). So, he was now in a second cage I bought for him, but by himself. I felt he ought to have a cagemate. So, I got a second budgie, Winter, and the flock is working out really well now. I know Snowy has a good home. He has a cage mate too, because after my neighbor adopted Snowy she went out and got a second budgie so Snowy would have company.

It's a bit of a long story. But, the point is, there were a couple of people who accused me of being a "bird flipper." I really didn't like that being said or implied. But, I know what the truth is, and there are and will be things in my life that some others may not understand. I have just learned that I have to live with the fact that others don't always see me as I wish they would, and there is not much I can do to change it.

There are a lot of people out there who like to pass judgment on others, and a lot of times they do it because it makes them feel superior. They're really just being nasty.

Theres alot of pet natzi ignore them.
