Ummm... She's a Budgie. She looks like she's a baby because she trusted me extremely quick, she's very small, she eats A LOT, and she sleeps much. This is Meema eating: (just turn down your speakers because I was accidentally rubbing the mic with my fingers)

And this is Meema eating with Kiwi inside a shoe box:

Also, my mom is letting me keep the birds IN MY ROOM :o

Hooray for keeping birds in your room! I was wondering what kind of bird Meema would turn out to be, and she's a lutino budgie! She does look like a baby from what I can see of her.

The time to decide about whether to let their wing feathers grow out will be when they molt.

She's adorable! :D From what I've heard though, apparently lutino budgies don't follow the basic rules of visual budgie sexing, so we won't know for sure what sex Meema is until sometime later when it shows in her behavior (unless if wherever you got her from had her information like DNA test results).

It's a shame Kiwi had to go. I only hope Kiwi is doing well with your friend.

Also, congrats on finally being able to keep your birds indoors! :D I wonder what convinced your mom to let you have them inside?

FWIW the majority of lutinos are girls. It's a sex-linked mutation, and it's easier to get girls than it is to get boys. But lutino boys do exist, so it's a possibility.

Omg. I thought of it as only just a yellow budgie! I didn't know she was a lutino. Are they expensive over there? She cost me five dollars, lol.

I really don't know what convinced my parents though. I think it was because they liked the new cage or something
