I cant believe after all I'm going through right now you are all willing to let my 3 birds die.Well thats very mature advice now isn't it.I cant believe a big group like Avian avenue actually gave me the right advice and that its best for them to live cage less especially right now.Loki loves pellets the most and Rocko also eats them if they slept in their cage the other night I would only have Mango now and 2 dead cockatiels.Oh and please think before posting.

Let's all try to be calm please. Brandon, maybe you don't realize how your comments look to other people, but you've made your share of rude remarks on this thread and it's not the first time that it's happened on this group. You've been booted off of several other groups for rudeness and people elsewhere have also complained that you don't listen to advice, so that's not just my opinion - it's the way that people in general seem to perceive you. It makes people feel frustrated with you, and a lot of times they end up making comments that you don't like.

You don't have to accept every single piece of advice that comes your way, but you'll get along better if it seems like you thought about the idea and had a good reason for deciding against it, instead of just blowing it off. People will be less inclined to criticize you in that case. There are always going to be disagreements and different opinions because there aren't any two people who think exactly the same way, but people look a lot more mature when they deal with it calmly instead of with name-calling and finger-pointing.

I agree but you say it better then me. ♡

I didn't want to have to do this Brandon but since you're still trying to stir up an argument I've put you on Moderated status. You can still make posts, but they have to be approved before they appear on the board. There's really on one rule on this group and it's "be nice", so if your posts aren't nice they'll be deleted instead of being approved. And please, let's not see any more argumentative or not-nice posts from anybody else on this thread because I'll delete them too.

The people on this thread are concerned that your birds will die because you're not keeping them in a cage at night and this is dangerous. But their cages haven't been mouse-proofed and mice are getting into the cages, so they aren't safe there either. It's a bad situation either way and I hope your birds will be OK.

You all just need to relax and trust that I can keep them safe living cage free and they are more secure up high so theres actually less chance of a night fright for cage less birds.

Happy huts are more appropriate for some species than others. They're not good for cockatiels because they stimulate breeding urges. This is less of an issue for birds that sleep in their nest holes all year long. But there have been a lot of injuries and deaths related to happy huts that developed holes and loose strings, so a lot of people don't like them at all. You have to be very careful with them and check them frequently for damage.
