Anyone else have birds that love to lick you while they nibble? I don't mind the nibbling, but is that tongue necessary? Uchh, no offense Rio, but tongues on my face and lips is NOT cute. It's kinda gross IMHO. Don't kill me for saying that lol. Does anyone have birds that lick them? If yes, do you actually like it?

Yep. Jaiden does that. In fact, he doesn't even preen me. He just pulls hair out and then just drags his tongue on my face. I think it's cute myself. It's just so tiny! It's adorable.

When the horses do it, it's a little excessive. Plus they have grass breath. A peck on the lips or cheek is sweet though.

I don't mind the tongue because it's dry. If it was wet it would be a different matter! That sharp little beak can be a nuisance sometimes because some birds aren't as gentle as I'd like.
