You sounded like me when I lost Bio. That is exactly what I said as well.

does anyone know the way to fix screen sliding door when it's torn where it goes into frame?

Strange, but flock doesn't seem to be missing him. I think they miss more the play cage that has to be outside now. His girlfriend is a bit sad but she is eating OK. I think she is just too young to be seriously bonded.

He's most likely to go in the direction the wind was blowing. But he's fully flighted if I remember right, so he has more options that a bird that is clipped. He can fly against the wind if it's not too strong.

You probably have a glass & screen company in your local area. They can put a new screen on the door for you. I need to get one of my window screens fixed so I'll be visiting a local company soon. It looks like the outdoor birds were hanging on it and poked holes in it with their claws. Or maybe with their beaks, if they thought there were insects under the screen. It definitely wasn't the cockatiels that did it, they don't have access to the window screens.

As a temporary fix, maybe a thread and needle would work. I think you would need to put the thread thru the screen, then around the door frame.

No news.
His first night out wasn't very cold but it was very windy. The second night it was raining and in the 40s. Today was upper 50s and not much rain (despite showers in the forecast) but this night we have a freeze watch.
Its been too chilly for him to survive, and I think he didn't have a chance to get down for food and be noticed by anyone.
I still have to take care of my child and her problems, my remaining birds, my rabbits, my school, and so on. SO the search is going but not as fast as it should.

There's always hope that someone may have managed to catch him, or that he was able to find a sheltered spot where he could stay warm enough.

Even if he would survive, I can't imagine what kind of health issues he would receive being in the wild in almost freezing temperatures and in the rain overnight.

Still hoping for the best though
