I really don't have a preference on gender. I want a female sun conure in addition to Rio. Not to breed, I just think a pair of conures are ADORABLE. This is the video of the extreme adorableness a pair of suns can have:

Hah yes this is true!!

I'm not sure if I'd want a pair though. If this guy gets over protective of his female ... Good thing you got the male first then!! Less chance of him harming you.

I don't really have a problem with eggs. I know how to deal with them. It's actually pretty fun. They're so cute when they're all fluffed up on their eggs.

I don't think he'll be overprotective of anyone (besides for me). I know my Rio. He wouldn't betray me for a hen. It's not like him.
