I wanted to open a thread "Do you hate it as much as I do?", meaning 4th of July :)
My birds are going crazy about sounds of fireworks, It's a big problem to get them to sleep.
I will be relieved when a whole firework thing is over!

Sorry for raining on your parade Mel.

Happy 4th of July!

My niece is in the US right now, for her honeymoon, but she was in yellowstone.... Maybe no fireworks there!

My neighbors were setting off the big, illegal fireworks last night right down the street. So loud.

Luckily my 3 were okay. They didn't panic and no night frights.

My birds handled the 4th pretty well last night. It was my dog who had the most trouble.

But after I put him in the bed with me while I worked on some music stuff, he got comfortable enough to sleep through most of the fireworks my neighbors shoot off.

My neighbors across the street are definitely accustomed to shooting off fireworks for almost every occsasion. Once I heard them shooting them off during Christmas Eve.
I mean, what happened to "silent night" and all that?
