S/he is still a baby. Approximately 3 weeks old. I don't have any pictures, but I do have a video.

Aww. Thank you Jan. :)

I really don't know what I'm going to name him/her yet. Mainly because I'm not sure on the gender.

I got her yesterday, before my thread. I didn't want to say at first because I thought you guys would think that I'm cruel for getting another bird. But since everyone reacted so nicely, I decided to tell everyone on here. :)

How adorable! Do you know what color the baby is going to be? I don't know enough about lovebirds to tell from the current coloring.

Thank you. I actually found a name for her. I'm going to call her Kiki.

Kiki is unisex enough that it will work if she turns out to be a he.

The internet is saying that peachfaced lovebirds are NOT dimorphic, so a DNA test may be the best way to find out the sex. You'll probably want to wait until the baby is older to do anything like that.

Of course. I don't think I'm going to DNA sex. Lovebirds are very opertunistic breeders. I bet she'll lay eggs soon enough. If he's a boy, I'll probably see him masturbating on me.
