I'm getting excited because cheerio started his molt. There's little bird fluff on the floor. What is the bird fluff called again?

I Haven't seen actual feathers yet, but his little head has some itchy pins that he's rubbing on me.

My entire budgie flock are having their winter moult now. They all look a mess! I believe the lovies are just starting too

My birds molted a couple of weeks ago. Emma looked particularly miserable for a couple of days. Baths and misting seemed to help.

Mine are moulting now too and I have spotted an white mask amongst the youngsters! I have a new male in the Aviary! Haven't set out to give names yet... but I love him already Maybe I'll call him "Eros"
