I was watching a video while Cheerio was on my head. A few minutes into the video, I see him ruffling around and I look into the mirror to catch him masturbating on my head. This was the first time he has done anything like this. I took him off and he's been flying back to my head.

He was actually biting me MUCH more when I brought him out of his cage to play. I honestly don't care if he pleases himself but he wants to do it on my head.

OK, now that I got that out of my system: would he accept a small stuffed toy as a substitute for your head?

:rotflmao100: :bigsmile100:

Sorry, I couldn't help it. Now we know why he's biting anyway - he's hormonal! And probably defending the cage as his nest area, which would be a reason for him to bite when you're trying to get him out. You could try the long nights treatment on him.

If it is an consolation, a lot of the birds I have raised myself have done this. I cared for a yellow streaked lory for some time and he would violently have a go on my hands. Should you try and stop him he'd do some serious damage!
