It’s been several days since I’ve received the DNA results for Ducky and Pearl, but I thought I’d share them. Ducky, like expected was female. There is absolutely NO MALE BEHAVIORS in that bird, and not a mean bone in “his” body. I’m still calling Ducky a “he”, because that’s what I’m used to, but I’m trying to say “she” more and more. Pearl, well, it was a little unexpected. It turns out that my little budgie girl is really a boy. Again, I’ll still be saying “she” for the most part. Also, will anybody make me a signature?

So everybody came out backwards, didn't they? Birds do this a lot.

I'm not sure that anyone here is still making signatures, but if you get lucky maybe someone will do it. You'll need to post some pictures for them to work with.

It’s sad how this forum isn’t very active. There are only really a few regular members here, and this is the only forum I know of that’s exclusively made for small birds.
