I am going to put some facts out about a species of parrot. Its your job to guess the bird! I'll go with some more common species first.

This bird is a type of macaw. They are popular in aviculture because of their striking color, ability to talk, ready availability in the market place, and their close bonding with humans. These birds can reach 30 to 34 in. And weigh 1.9 to 3.3 lbs, making them one of the larger macaws. They are vivid in appearance with blue wings, green head, and a yellow stomach. What am I?

I hope this one is a little bit harder.....

This bird is found in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. Its habitat is rainforest, coastal bush, and woodland areas. It is a medium sized parrot, with the length ranging from 9-11 in. In size. They are very colorful birds, having blue, green, red, and orange in their plumage. They also have a red beak. What am I?

This bird is from the cockatoo family. It is a medium-sized parrot restricted to arid and semi-arid Inland areas of Australia. With its soft textured white and salmon-pink plumage and large, bright red and yellow crest, it is generally recognized as the most beautiful of all cockatoos. What am I?

Ok....game on Stephanie!

This parrot breeds in Tasmania and migrates north to south eastern Australia. This parrot is endangered with only about 1,000 pairs remaining in the wild. It is about 10 in. long and has long pointed wings and long tapering tail feathers. It is mainly green with a bluish crown and red on the face above and below the beak.

Ooooh, tricky one. But my guess goes to the Swift parrot. The only way I knew that was I saw one at the San Diego zoo and read an informational billboard on them.
