I've been there and done that on keeping cockatiels from fighting! I sing "you gotta keep 'em separated" while I do it.

It's fun watching lovebirds skitter around. They're so much faster than cockatiels!

not as graceful as tiels though. i love watching dally fly, she reminds me of a butterfly with her fluttering. the lovies are like rockets. noisy and direct. but if you noticed, mango flew into my painting in the video lol

lovebirds are spun little buggers. munch surprised me today by landing on my shoulder, something shes never done. but i was holding mango, checking his keelbone lol i think she came over because i had him there

Jealousy is an excellent training tool!

it was weird. mango wont come near me unless i have millet though lol

Food bribery is useful too.

it wont be likely theyll be really tame, and munch likely will never stop biting, but its nice when they come for the millet. i never even expected that lol

I love the part where the lovebird is under the mat on top of the cage.
You know after I stoped interfearing with my tiels when they would fight, they pretty much settled there differences and rarely ever fought.

mine fight regardless over everything lol never any blood nor does it really escalate. its more if theres something they both want (me, perch, toy, food bowl, etc) other than that they can get along fine in their own personal bubble

My tiels were lazy, never flew on there own unless startled.

Once I tried to encourage figgie to fly but tossed him n he air a lil to hard and he hit his head on the ceiling I felt bad.
