yes please! Get one and report! I want one too, now I go check if we have them there, looks like they sell them in europe

EDIT: They have them in many shops but they are ALL OUT OF STOCK!!! I wonder whether they have received the stock already or waiting for it and just advertising for now.

Re-EDIT: anyone knows how big they are?

They're more or less life size. They're a little big for an American parakeet but might be just right for an English budgie.

OMG. I swear ANOTHER product just came out. I am not making this up.

http://www.littlelivepets.com/llpproduc ... -pack.aspx

Now which one do I get? Perfect Polly, Digibirds or Little Live Pets?

Too many decisions!!! Curse you consumerism!

At the moment, Perfect Polly seems to be the only one that's easily available in the US. According to this link: http://toybook.com/moose-toys-going-liv ... live-pets/ the Little Live Pets will be available in the fall so maybe we just have to wait a little while. At the moment Target has one listed on their website but it isn't actually available: http://www.target.com/p/little-live-pet ... A-15328331 And Amazon has one but it's insanely expensive: http://smile.amazon.com/Little-Live-Pet ... 00LHP3E1Y/

Here's a video from the New York Toy Fair that says they'll be available in Spring 2015. The first half of the video is about butterflies and the second half is about the birds:

Hmm... well, I was on YouTube looking at reviews of them. Digibirds just came out today. I am running to town tomorrow for school clothes shopping and it's right next to a toy store. I'll see what I can find.

Sure enough Amazon has Digibirds now. They're rather expensive though - 30 bucks for one or 3 for $60. Still don't see them on Walmart or Toys R Us but maybe they'll put them up soon.

Well, I made my selection. Who did I pick?

Perfect Polly!

I actually really like it. Quiet, moves, perches on things. And no hormone control!

What do Beck and Poppy think? The male parakeets I had in the past would have LOVED Perfect Polly, at least until she started chirping and moving. That might have freaked them out, and then again maybe they would have liked it. My cockatiels do NOT like Perfect Polly, but it's wise of them to be wary of budgies because a budgie could totally kick their butts in a fight.

Amazon has the Little Live Pet birds now but they're fairly expensive. Perfect Polly was the CHEEP-est by far, and the price on the others will probably come down eventually. First they want to get all the people who are willing to pay the high price, then they'll start working on the lower-priced audience.

:joke:

It was $4 on Amazon. The Little Live Pets and Digibird I wanted, I also added to my cart, but I came back the next day to buy them and they both got sold. Polly was the only one left, so I got a budgie mutation book and a rider for my Breyer horses instead, along with PP. I haven't showed her to Beck and Poppy yet.
