You may remember this bird from a couple past videos. Bowie is up to his usual antics again! This time, it seems he has a friend. Talking to a little stuffed angry bird toy, laughing, and giving tickles. :irnbirdorable: :angrybirdmisso:

phpBB [video]

Now I have a question. I've always seen IRNs associated with stuffed animals, more so than other parrot. Does anyone have any idea why this is? I'm thinking that's more on the human's side of things, but I have no idea. I see other birds, be it larger, smaller, or around same size, who are afraid of stuffed animals because of how strange they look, and some who usually seem nuetral. But Ringnecks seem to really like them, for whatever reason. Maybe it's something about their personality?

But no matter the reason, I think it's cute. :) I love his exaggerated movements, too. IRNs seem to be known for expressing their excitement in their movements.

That's so, so cute. It really makes me want one. But, perhaps he is exceptional?

By exceptional, I mean perhaps many ringnecks do not talk, or do not talk nearly that well.

On the other hand, I know every bird is exceptional in their own way.

Oh no Indian ringnecks are known to talk like that and are good talkers and Plum headed parakeets are supposed to be even better and talk more clearly.
