I'm so glad you got a mirror ball. Beaker and Jaid love theirs. Typical parrot at the end.

My cockatiels were never very interested in the mirror ball. But Dweezil loves it! He always throws it on the floor but he takes his time doing it, because he wants to savor every moment.

Dweezil is amazing. I love his colors, and that long tail of his. Too bad they're so expensive

I don't think it's possible to buy these balls any more. I got mine two years ago and it was difficult to find then. Here's the listing on Amazon where I got mine, which gives the name of the manufacturer: http://www.amazon.com/Play-Visions-Mirr ... B009YLWWJI

POWs are considered to be a mellow species like cockatiels. They usually coexist peacefully with tiels, which is why I felt fairly safe getting this species. In fact he's been courting the cockatiel hens, who seem to think it's sexual harassment lol.

He's a bit bigger than the tiels and his movements are lively, so they're a little intimidated by him. But there's been no threats or violence at all. POWs are mostly considered to be an aviary bird, without a whole lot of pet quality. But I think his pet quality is excellent.
