he flew away! I left the garage gate open for fresh air and He opened the door and now he is gone!

I heard him scream but now no answer. It was too late when I tried playing callibg sounds. I separated Marsh from Georgie and he is calling like crazy...but I doubt he would come back.

It's all my fault. He can fly very well and I freel embarrassed to ply calling sounds in public.

I need a friend. Nobody cares at all besides for me. He was my baby and now...he is a gone

I am calling one of his babies...bio! I love you Bio! I wish I had a chance to say bye but now it's too late.

Bio escaped when the garage door was open! I'll never see him again! I'm the worst bird owner alive :(

Don't worry about embarrassment, get out there and play some bird calls! The sound of the babies begging for food might work, or maybe Marshmallow his mate. Hang up some 'lost bird' signs, contact local vets and pet shops to ask if anyone has turned in a lost cockatiel, and advertise on craigslist. If there are a lot of kids in your neighborhood, tell them you'll give them a reward if they find him - that will motivate them! You live in an area with a good climate so he might last out there for quite a while, and there's a good chance that someone will find him. Good luck getting him back!

It rained today! I can't hear him, i feel like it's just useless and that he will never come back home.

I lost a bird a while ago, I hung signs and nothing worked. I saw a few kids from my old school and I really got embarrassed. I feel like he is long gone.

Cockatiels are strong flyers and you said he could fly well, so it's possible that he has left the area. But it's also possible that he could come back, or be found in a different area. So don't give up yet, it's too soon for that. Craigslist will help you reach people throughout the region, so post 'lost bird' ads there and also watch for 'found bird' ads.

Instead of playing a recording of Bio singing, try playing a recording of the birds he wants to be with. The babies and Marshmallow especially, but the rest of the flock too.

I looked everywhere and still not found. I will make lost bird signs. Any ideas of what to write? Should I put Marshmallow in a harness and walk with her?
