Are we parasites?

Lemme see... we're on this forum and it does have a host. So it looks like we ARE parasites. But we're friendly and helpful, so we're like the good bacteria in the gut not like salmonella and E. coli. How's THAT for a lovely comparison? It'll sound better if we think of ourselves as probiotics rather than intestinal bacteria.

Technically that would make us symbiotes, not parasites.

If the organism is earth there might be some good parasites on here, but most of human kind is indeed just killing the planet.
