I need to remove a few J clips from the big mesh cage I built a while ago.
I know there are J clip removal pliers but they are quite expensive, so I was wondering if any of you know of an alternative method.

What is a J clip? Can you take a picture? It sounds vaguely familiar.

I really don't know, sorry
@bluekeet I never heard of a J clip before, but I looked it up on Google and found this image
Found on a google search.

I don't have any personal experience with this, but I've read that you can remove them with wire cutters. It's not a quick process though, you have to keep working at it until you've done enough damage to get the clip off.

Yes, I'd use pliers.....

Alright, thank you. I need to add a wooden frame to the cage doors and it would be easier to do that if I had the doors detached from the cage.
