Yes, I know! That's why I want one! Just wondering, how much would one cost? Of course, unlikely I'll ever find one!

There's no such thing as a typical price for a bird like that. Assuming that the owner is willing to sell it, the bird will go for whatever the highest bidder is willing to pay.

I really have no idea. If a couple of rich people are competing to buy it, it could go for thousands of dollars. If more ordinary people are competing for it, it might be hundreds. It all depends on how many people want a halfsider bird at that particular time and how much they're willing to pay for it.

There is no way I can get this bird. This said, isn't she beautiful?
Seeing her sitting in that small cage without any toy breaks my heart

Rosella parrots are lovely, but from my understanding are not very common. I also feel sorry for this bird Barbara...so sad!

I wonder what that bird does the whole day. Probably nothing :(

She's beautiful. Do they get along with cockatiels? I really want a Princess Of Wales Parrot. They are beautiful, annnnnd they get along with cockatiels. I don't know how much they cost, or the food they eat.

Rosellas are gorgeous, but they're less social than other parrots so they're not likely to be a snuggly pet. In the wild they don't form permanent pair bonds - instead they pair up during the breeding season then go their separate ways when the chicks are weaned. They say that even handfed babies usually aren't affectionate pets, although I've met one that was friendly.

I want a Princess of Wales parakeet too. If I remember right, they were $200 at the bird mart last month. They're grass parakeets so their diet is similar to cockatiels and budgies. They're gentle, quiet birds.
