Beaker actually minds himself. He's just grumpy. Jaid is sassy.

So, I went to PetSmart today to get some cat food for Shelby. I perused over to the birds and found a normal/yellow sided GCC. I had a bag of carrots with me as a snack for myself (I'm a hypoglycemic). I was chatting to him and his pasty eyeballs kept looking at my orange carrots. I held one up and asked if he wanted a bite. HE BOBBED HIS HEAD YES. He was SO CUTE. He did it every time I held up a carrot. He bobbed like he was the Energizer bunny on speed.

I. Wanted. Him.

That was about the cutest bird I've seen since I went to The Bird Shop and a cockatiel ran up my shoulder and whispered sweet nothings in my ear 2 years ago.

Nothing keeps me going like birds.

Tell your dad you need to move to Idaho RIGHT NOW because you already found the perfect bird for your expanded flock.

I just had to get it out of my system. I know he'll go to a great home with that personality.

If I had no parental supervision, I would have picked him up with the cat food. I just have to stop going to the birds at pet stores. If I fail that step, I'll just look at the price tag.
