Long story short, my family and both of my moms sister in-laws kids ate at a restaurant last night.

The kids were very hyper, they drove my mom nuts! After my mom dropped them back she forgot to close the gate, and she left her car door open!

At 1:56 AM a robber came to out house, opened our car, and stole my mom purse! He left at 2:03 AM, then came back at 2:08 and left at 2:10. He took a lot of time!

We knew this because my mom asked me to get money from her purse because my aunt needed diapers for her child. I told my mom and she right away went to the pizza shop because she thought she left her purse there. Well, we checked their cameras and my mom did not leave it there.

We then checked our cameras and saw EVERYTHING!! The man was dark skinned, he came from the passenger side, he had a white hat, a flash light, and a big bag!

I am terrified! I was always afraid to be by myself because I thought there was going to be a murderer in my room and kill me.

Now that this happened, I am 10 times worse. I don't know how I am going to live for the next week... or year!

My mom canceled all of her credit cards. I am going to make sure every door in my house it locked shut! The police came here and did a fingerprint test on the car doors.

He is coming again to see the camera, he didn't see it yet

Wow, that's so weird you said that. We had some people, a man and a woman, just stand in front of my dad's house a few days ago. The woman was on her cell phone and the man was who-know-where. She kept looking at our house almost to check if we weren't home. We tried to get in the truck and see if she would disperse, but she didn't. We just drove around the block and came back, and there was the man! They left. We would have called the police, but Roseville police are jerks. In Roseville, people learn how handle things ourselves because the police are so rude. And, it helps that both my parents are retired police. They know how to handle things. Also, daddy hunts, so we have like 17 guns in our house.

But all kidding aside, I'm sorry that happened to you. Just be sure to set the alarm and lock your doors at night. If it helps, you can talk to somebody and tell them this is scaring you. It's natural to feel this way. If someone comes and violates you like that, it leaves you with a feeling of insecurity. Just remember, he is a coward who can't work for his own money. He is just a lazy dirt-bag who finds it's easier and more convent to steal other people's possessions, who rightfully worked for them. He would be a true idiot if he were to do it again. So try to have a peace of mind for the night. I know it's hard, but think of good things, and try to calm down. It already happened, and it's over. I know you still feel shaken, but that is what your family is for. Talk to them. It can't hurt.

At least he didn't bother the birds. It might not be much of a bright side, but it's better than nothing. He didn't try to come into the house either, he was only after what he could get easily without anyone noticing. If you keep your gate locked he probably won't bother you any more. It's pretty extraordinary that the one time someone forgot to lock the gate, you got robbed. That guy might cruise the area every night looking for an opportunity like this. Which sounds scary at first, but if it's true it shows that he's not going to bother anybody who doesn't literally leave the door open for him.

This is awful! Being robbed is a really horrible experience, not much for the loss of money but because you feel violated, home is a place where everyone should feel safe. I am so sorry!

One thing you must remember: if this man was a psycho who wanted to inflict pain to you or your family, he wouldn't have alerted you robbing you first. He'd have acted in a different way. So please don't panic, it's a horrid experience but that wasn't the act of someone who plans to kill or other evil acts.

Sorry for your bad experience, sounds like he was after a quick grab job....
Just keep the gates shut and alarms on,
it must have shaken you up... hope it all gets better soon.

Thank you everyone!

I think this guy is looking around the whole neighborhood. He also stole a lot of money from my uncles car (over £6,000) last month.

Thank you for your support. It really helped a lot
