I am still cut off from civilisation. No landline, no internet. I only have this phone to communicate with the outside world and the screen is WAY TOO SMALL to be considered decent.
I tried to tether and my provider scolded me... Life is hard lol
Fortunately the line should be alive again next Monday... Almost there

I can live without a cell phone. Easily. I hate them. Computer, eh, not so much. The first computer I played on was when I was 4 on the big Windows DSL computers. Slower than molasses, but I miss them.

I have one, but I can go months without using it. I hate the dependence and addition on them. I play a game whenever I walk to the truck at the end of school. I count how many people have their cells out immediately after the bell rings. I count 30 within my 4 minute walk. 30 is my average. People can't go 10 seconds without their cells in their hand. They don't even have to be using them. They just have to be touching it. Ridiculous. I just want to smack it out of their hand and watch them panic when it shatters, telling me "It's their life."

I know, technology, am I right?

I don't mind cellphones but sometimes they bring up a side of people I really detest. Example: you are talking to someone, and their attention is focused on the phone instead of the conversation. Some people are so ignorant, they keep on texting just while you are talking to them! Unbelievable.

The reason I so readily denounce cell phones is because of ol' Rocklin High. They are everywhere. For some reason, you are socially unacceptable if you don't have an iPieceofCrap (as I call them). Those models are everywhere within the teenagers at my school. The place I live is very materialistic. I really don't like it.

since I don't have a phone, I don't text. I just check my email like 100 times a day! lol

My broadband is back, and the speed is so bad I can't even upload pictures in batch. Forget about uploading on YouTube... After 4 hours of uploading a 3 minute video I lost the connection lol.
I am told this is the new tactic used by ISPs to sell you fiber optic, they throttle you so badly that you accept to pay more, out of sheer desperation.
God, how much I hate these people!
