For those of us who live far away from Sacramento: there's lots of cool stuff for sale at good prices at bird marts. These are usually sponsored by a local pet bird club and are sort of like a craft fair, but with birds and bird supplies being sold instead of crafts. The bird club rents a hall and leases out space to vendors who sell whatever they've got to sell.
