Seriously, is it just me, or has anybody else gotten the urge to build a tiny house?

That's what I would want.....having 5 other siblings under the age of 12 drives you a little crazy sometimes. Just wondering though......where would my birds go???

I've seen articles about these in the NY Times from time to time. They really inspire me!

In a way, I would love to build one. But, the main thing is: I live in a 950 square foot house and have trouble finding room for all my stuff. I look at these and realize how much space I have and how much decluttering I need to do.

I love the idea of simple living. This may be exactly what I'm looking for. Hannah, I thought of that too, but since a lot of these are custom built, I would build an add on aviary out the window like Barbara wanted when the weather's nice. And I would leave a spot for my bird cage. I read a story about a couple who lived in a tiny house with their great dane!
