What about the individual letter stickers.... bought in a DIY shop... you buy the letters you need and peel off the backing and place them on the side of the van to make the name you want...
They are water proof...
Can be bought in a variety of sizes...

You could probably email it to her, to be printed out at her end. That would be easier than a fax.
