The September 2009 issue of BirdTalk magazine has a paragraph about Sally at the bottom of page 19. She's talking about something sad - losing her birds in the fire - so congratulations isn't exactly the right word. But it's nice that one of our members got some attention.

Thank you for noticing I was in the Bird Talk magazine. I was not sure if it would be in there. They wanted pic's of my birds but some of you know I don't know how to do that. I wrote a huge email to the person that did the article. She really trimmed it down but I think she did a wonderful job on it. I was very pleased with the article. My heart still aches for my birds I lost. I lost Happy on March 1st. He was such a wonderful bird. I will be getting another parrotlet in the future. I just can't live with out one in my life. I love parrotlets so much. Take care all.
