I haven't really signed on for a week or so because I've been fighting a little personal battle, no news is good news but not in my case unfortunately. For the past 3 weeks I've really been struggling with my anxiety. It's been affecting everything. Especially my food intake. I lost 2 pounds, which is risky business for me. I have a very fast metabolism and have a hard time putting weight on and keeping weight on. I'm 5'4 and now 96 pounds. I uses to be 98. My hair began to fall out. I began to get nervous at home. I never get nervous at home. I began to slip. Isolating myself more and more. Luckily my parents were there to help me realize I was losing control. They are very supportive of me and I am very grateful for them. They reassure me of my fears. I am starting to come on the other side of it. When I'm nervous, I pick at my food with my hands into tiny pieces, which was why I lost the weight. I am working on taking bigger bites. It's been helping. I've been so focused on my body so much I haven't really been on the internet much at all. I think I'll be back and regular again. :)

I'm sorry you're struggling. I have GAD myself and it's a real pain. I hope you feel better.

I'm glad that you're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! It sounds like you have a good understanding of the problem and know what you have to do to work through it, and that's half the battle.

I am glad that you're starting to get better!

Did you try to keep a handful of nuts always in your pocket? All nuts are super fatty but nutritious, and even when you don't feel like eating a proper meal you pop some nuts in your mouth. Chew them or just break them in small pieces and swallow them.
I understand that this won't solve the problem at its root but it might help you not to lose more weight, which is important right now... and you can share them with the birdies!

My brother has an eating disorder so I researched a little and I read that nuts have a healthy fat that helps you burn fat. It's kinda weird how healthy fat can burn unhealthy fat, so believe it or not, nuts can help you loose weight.

If you eat 15 walnuts and 20 almonds believe you me it won't help you to lose fat... on the contrary.

Well I heard that oils are a healthy fat too. Don't know if that would help or hurt me. I don't have an eating disorder though. I don't do it deliberately. It was just harder for me to eat when I am nervous, which was very frequent. Jaid does like peanuts though.
