I might go to a rescue to see if anuthing catches my eye. Hopefully dont come home with 50 birds

If you have a busy life 1-2 is plenty...

If you're OK with a "used" bird, craigslist is also a good place to look. There are lots of birds there who need a new home and the owner is selling them at a low price, often with the cage and supplies included. I consider these birds to be pretty similar to rescues, they just never made it all the way to an official rescue organization.
