I know. I was joking. :D

I love gardening, just wish I had more of a green thumb.

I agree!

I joke that I have a house full of musical instruments, and I play all of them poorly. But I enjoy it.

I am really loving the piano. It seems easier than the other instruments I have played.

I always wished I had a piano, but it never seemed possible. Now, I live in my own house, rather than an apartment, so I can play without disturbing others. I thought about getting a traditional upright, but instead got a Yamaho electric piano. It seemed a more practical choice. This has very good sound and feels like a real piano. I am thrilled to finally have one. And, Silver loves to listen to me play. He usually comes over and sits on my shoulder.

I know what you mean Diane. I have a guitar that I love to look at as much as play. (not well at all) My sister plays piano really well and my favorite that she plays is Greensleeves.

Here's one of my hobbies in action. The concert was on Sunday and they've put the videos up on youtube now. Here are a couple of the shorter, snazzier pieces. Serious music lovers will notice that we suck, but we sound decent enough to the casual listener.

You can't go wrong with ragtime lol.

Spanish music is also fun.

Anyone who's masochistic enough to want to listen to the whole concert should go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITcFB-9 ... GHjwWI8Yg- It won't do it here in the forum thread, but when you're actually on the youtube site it will keep rolling from one video to the next if you don't stop it, and you can pick and choose videos from the menu.

If you're wondering where I am, look at our banner up above the stage, then look at the tympani player right underneath it surrounded by four big drums with white tops. The head sticking up in front of the two middle drums is me!

Are you a brunette? If not I think I was looking at the wrong person.

Yes, I have dark hair. So does the woman next to me (on the left side of the picture) but the guy on my other side has white hair.

I play clarinet. It's funny watching the video because it looks like we're just sitting there. The music stands and all the other musicians block the view of the instruments, and the only body part that moves when we play is our fingers, and the view of that is also blocked. Well there's some tongue action going on too but that's all internal so no one ever sees that.

Okay then I was on the right person. That's funny I was also thinking "is she playing anything?".
