What is the weather like out there?? Here in upstate NY it is freezing rain and gray. I think I might go back to bed with the cat & dogs.

Here in Fishkill it's gray and rainy. My brother is staying at my house and I said to him, "At least it isn't snow!"

I think of November as being a very gray month. It was, and it is continuing on into December. I prefer the sun. :(

Hot and sunny. Sometimes it gets cloudy. I miss the stormy days.

Practically a monsoon over here in North California. Our backyard flooded, luckily we don't have one. It's just dirt.

Where is Fishkill? Do you mean the one up in the Adirondacks, NY?

Fishkill is on the east side of the Hudson River. It is south of Poughkeepsie and about 1-1/2 hours north of NY City.

It is very cold here today. I swim for exercise, and days like this it's hard to get into the pool. I'm not sure why that is, as the pool is moderately heated. I guess it's just that when it's this cold out the cold kind of gets inside me and stays there LOL.

Well....we are practically neighbors! I'm just 5 miles north of Saratoga Springs. Maybe some day in the summer we can visit and meet each others birds. :)

That would be cool, but Saratoga Springs is about 120 miles from Hastings on Hudson.
