Barbara, I agree. It seems that a lot of the questions are newbie questions. I don't mind answering, but a lot of times it gets super repetitive. I just leave those for other newcomers to answer.

At least it keeps the forum running active lol.

Talk Budgies does seem to be much more active than Talk Cockatiels. I have attributed it to more people having budgies than have cockatiels.

I still prefer TC. TB has too many moderators for my comfort and far too many silly rules. To me at least.

Talk parrots also has silly rules. Not being able to enter the photo contest because you won once that year is one of them.

Well, I like to keep things real complicated so my username at TC is "Cloudy Skies" and my username at TB is "Cloudy Skies". I know, I'm super creative. I picked the username after I got Cloud, my first budgie.

I think sometimes people ask a question that's been answered a zillion times simply because they're new to the topic and want to join in the conversation but of course when you're new, you usually don't have anything particularly unique to discuss yet. It's hard to feel part of a community by just reading the FAQs (not to dismiss the importance of FAQs, I've read through tons of them and find them very useful and interesting!)
