I love The Bird Shop here in Sacramento, but I am not allowed to work there because of the high-crime in the area. Sad, because they know me too and keep offering me positions.

However, last year I was trying to find a new bird shop I want to get my first job at. We are going to move to the Coeur D'Alene area and I found this little gem, Sparky's Bird Store.

IT'S AWESOME! And is only 20 minutes from the Coeur D'Alene area! It's like my two favorite things, birds and reptiles, rolled into one. And they have SO many RARE birds there!!! Hyacinth macaws, which is what their mascot, Sparky is, conclurry parakeets, black palm cockatoos, patagonian conures, and most importantly, but not that rare, BLUE CROWN CONURES!

I never really get this excited but I cannot wait to see it!

I know. I am so excited to see it. I'm getting an aviary, couple new budgies and a new bird store. Idaho sounds like a bird paradise to me.

I've seen black palms before and held one at Parrot Planet. He's awesome! His name is Guinness. I fed him a big walnut and he just totally demolished it.
