Not quite sure what words you talk about, I wonder if my daughter would recognize them as she gets to hear some occasionally when I drive and somebody forces me to slam my break (just kidding). I am not a fan of TV and I hardly watch any shows. Our TV is downstairs in the basement, I usually can't stand it very well :)
I used to watch movies, not those movies that are accompanied by pop corn, but since I became a parent, I've been too busy for them too. Family movies are an exception. I finally watched Frozen not long ago :)

Chipper, what is your first language?

Barbara, are you in and/or from Italy? If so, man, I am really going to have to make my brain do some gymnastics to imagine you with something different from a British accent.

Yes I am Italian but living in the UK, and no, you don't need to send your brain to the gym lol, a few months ago I posted a video about a bird shower/fountain, we were all debating how to build a good one and I made an experiment my birds didn't appreciate much.
Be warned, my accent is so thick you could cut it with a knife :bigsmile100:

PS Chipper, yours is a great nation with an incredibly rich history, nothing to apologise for! Actually I'd be proud to be russian.

Barbara, I didn't apologize, I just said that the nation is being under huge pressure in American mass media. Like during cold war time.

Very true. Media used to be the voice of freedom, now it's just another tool in the hands of few powerful people and corporations. Look at the way they masterly move our attention away from some of the news and concentrate on other matters... puppeteers.
Just my opinion of course.
