Is someone compliments your birds feather, is OK to say thank you? Like, it's your bird, it's normal to say thank you if someone compliments your birds features, right?

I need to know. Thank you so much!

Smoking is bad? I was having a conversation with someone...someone compliments on my birds feather...I say thank you...and they question me for it. I just want to make if I'm acting strange, or not.

I do not recommend smoking; just a strange joke going around.

I don't really understand the question (hence the joke) but I guess you can if you want to.

Sure, it's fine to say thank you. They're complimenting something of yours. If somebody complimented your clothes or your car or something like that you're expected to say thank you. It might seem a little odd since a bird is alive and those other things aren't, but it's basically the same principle.

When someone compliments my clothes, I have to look down to see what I'm wearing before I say thank you. Because I've gotten dressed too many times to remember the most recent incident.
