Thanks guys!
My bird doesn't know how to talk. And frankly, I don't have the patients to repeat the same words 100 times a day. I don't even think he'll pick it up. I'm not really into trick training. I don't understand how the birds get it. I always feel like i'm just wasting my time. I know birds are smart, i just don't think they're able to comprehend what I want them to do. I like taming though. I can put the logic behind that. Bird see's you doing good things to him=not to be afraid. But taming isn't so straight forward. It's like, He talks=do I repeat? Or like, He says roll over=let me just go to sleep.
It's just way too much work. I just don't get their thinking process with training. I'm lucky Rio knows how to make his own, funny sounds. Talking is overrated.

Quote: Also, You look wonderful today Caro, I like that dress! That's not me, man, you're looking at somebody else. I haven't put on a dress in years, so I don't have to look down to know that I'm not wearing one. If you said you like my t-shirt I'd have to look down to see which one of my t-shirts you liked. And I actually do have a rather nice one on today. Sort of a low-contrast tie-die with a pattern of shiny metal bits on it.
