Why are you even happy?

I am anticipating the soon end of hell that I am going thru every summer (so kinda feel optimistic LOL) . Every summer I barely survive along with my pets. Right now new challenges popped up, but I keep faith that we they will be overcome. On a 10 score scale, my internal well being is about at 2.5 .. 3 (not bad at all)
Interesting? I have to stand in my yard every evening as soon as it's dark with a flashlight for about an hour (experimentally I discovered that mosquitoes in the area are not dangerous - I am still alive, not even sick) protecting my pets from cats and possums that all together decided that this is a cool place to hang out.

I'm well so are my birds....
My daughter is home on vacation so
interest time ahead..... lots of places to
visit.Whoooooo

where in the States does your daughter live? Do you see her often?
I haven't seen my parents for 3 years.

My daughter works on board a cruise ship....
4 months work .....2 months vacation....so she is
home for 8 weeks every 4 months....
Her home port is New Jersey.....
I try to visit as often as I can....
So I see quite a lot of her.....
