Remember how I said I might buy a lemon tree tomorrow, well, I did.

It looks very well and came with all these flower buds. Whoever cared for this tree before did a great job as its so green and bushy!

Nice! I thought you wanted an orange tree, but lemons certainly have their uses.

Oh, I changed my mind as soon as I wrote that. Nobody in my family really eats that many oranges, but we definitely use a lot of lemons. It seems like the better buy.

There would have been one advantage of an orange tree though - you could let Cheerio eat the oranges! Lemons are very acidic so you need to limit the quantity. But if Cheerio likes fruit you can always buy oranges for him to eat, so it's not a problem. He's such a small bird that he couldn't dispose of too many oranges for you anyway.
