Seems like my house is infested with brown recluses. I see them way too often here and there, inside the house and in garage, different sizes, most often small or average, but sometimes large. Normally I don't kill anybody but this guys have to be murdered by me.
I am not a person that panics easily, and I am not panicking right now, none of that people that live in the house have been bitten, but I am concerned.
I found that before going to bed I turn on full light and lift my comforter to make sure there are no brown recluses in my bed. I wouldn't call it fear, but I do think about them more than I would like to. Another problem is that none of us have medical insurance (thanks to ridiculous healthcare system and high deductibles) and this makes me worried even more (I know it's a reason to be concerned by itself, with no relation to spiders but now I am talking about spiders as this is something you can't predict)
I have to admit I do have some clutter in the house since my workload (all together) is more than one person can handle properly.
We also have pantry moth infestation and this one is going on for years now.
Not sure if I can use a fogger that kills all insects in the house with birds in the house (they would have to be taken to the birds store boarding for a few days, I think). I just don't like methods like this in general.
Any suggestions?

This website says that brown recluse spiders are difficult to kill and it's best to call a professional: http://citybugs.tamu.edu/factsheets/bit ... /ent-3003/ The methods that they use do not sound bird-safe, but this is something that you could discuss with them to see if anything can be done to make it safer.

I wish I could be more optimistic, but it sounds like these spiders are a major problem.
