Can I post a pic for an avatar from my bucket? It won't accept the url.

For avatars you just copy the picture into your profile.

I hate being a dummy but I can't seem to do well from the bucket. When I try to post an Avatar or signature...it says my url is wrong.

hmmm..it's there as a url now but not as a pic.

The url is showing up in your signature line not as an avatar. You need a very small picture to use as an avatar and this one is too big. Signature pics can be bigger than avatars but not this big. If you want me to, I can copy the picture, shrink it down to the right size, and put it in your profile as an avatar.

You have an avatar!

For the signature, you need to have a picture stored online. At the moment we don't have any restrictions on the image size so you just have to aim for something that's reasonable. Click User Control Panel on the bottom left side of the banner. Then click the tab that says Profile - it's the second tab at the top of the big box with lots of words and commands on it. Then click Edit Signature, on the left side of the box. Now there will be a big empty box where you can write stuff with some command buttons on top of it. Click the one that says image and a couple of coding tags will appear in the empty box. Paste the url of your picture in between these tags and click Submit.

If that doesn't work, give me the url and I'll put it in for you. The picture that the avatar was copied from is too big right now, but if you make it smaller you can use that one.
