This might be just my own preference and others may be ok with the way it works right now, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

When there is a link in a post, and we click the link, it will load in the same page where the post is.
That means losing the page with the original post.

I am aware that right clicking the link and choosing "open in a new tab" solves the issues, but it's easy to forget to do it.

If the majority agrees with me (and the boss of course ), would it be possible to have links open in a new tab?

I am sorry I didn't explain myself very well lol, I hope it makes sense.

I tried to install the Happy Chirps button today and it was fairly disastrous. I made a backup before I started playing with the code, but a few posts were made after that and they've been lost because I did have to reinstall the backup. I'm not sure whether we lost the 'open link in new window' function so this is a test:

Edit: it's still working! I think I've repaired all the damage now, except for the lost posts which can't be recovered.
