Today I found out that Bea started her own board called Talk Cockatiels in July 2007. (She may have others too - there's an associated site called Talk Budgies that sounds like her kind of place). It's located at http://talkcockatiels.com/

She has a monthly photo contest, which has a feature that we might want to adopt. She has a sticky thread where the winning picture for each month is posted. When a new one is added the old ones remain, so a whole collection of winners is building up. The thread is apparently closed to other posts so there isn't a lot of chitchat in between the winning pictures. This would be a nice thing for us to have!

P.S. I've added a "Previous winners" thread to the art contest section going back as far as I can, which means the last old forum. Some of these pictures are too big to display correctly on the current forum. I resized mine, but is there a convenient way to tell the others to display smaller?
