They are, although the wild birds in my back yard don't seem to care too much for them. The berries disappear around late February after being available for about three months. Either the local birds ran out of other food or a migrating bird that likes them came through. I've heard that mockingbirds love them but I don't see mockers in the back yard very often.
Prince Ess seems to like them though. This morning he ran under the bush and nibbled on a couple of them.

That might not be his name. It's just something to call him while I figure out his actual name. I think Sherman might work. It's loosely derived from Shamu. Shamu is the name of a famous whale of course, and this bird is princess of wales. But I didn't think Shamu fit him as well as Sherman did.
