It's always funny when someone else's birds are murderous!

The part about Bio not wanting to go in the nest when he's wet sounds like Shodu. In dry climates, the parent birds are supposed to wet their feathers and go in the nest to bring moisture to the eggs. The climate here is extremely dry. So what does Shodu do? She takes a bath and stays out of the nest until she's completely dry. If I want moisture in the nestbox I have to turn on the humidifier.

Last year, when George amd Trilly were having (infertile) eggs they had a makeshift nest made out of a cardboard box strapped on the top of their cage.
The opening of the nest was exactly at eye level. So what happened was, EVERY SINGLE TIME humans or birds passed in front of that opening, George would propel himself out like a missile from inside the nest, open his wings to make himself big and scream bloody murder. He's already a big bird so he was massive lol
After a while nobody noticed anymore, and we ended up calling him cuckoo clock since that's exactly how he looked
I wish I had pics of that... He was such a character. At night, when he was done with his egg sitting shift, he'd come to me for sctritches and fall asleep on my boobs. I still miss him like crazy.

This is my first entry, Trilly two days ago. I lost the nest roof, so she directly jumps up whenever she feels like it and terrorises everyone. I need to find that roof.

I like the wings in that picture, 'angry pearls' are pretty funny. You could always tack a piece of cardboard on top of the box if you can't find the real lid. If it gets shredded it's easy to install a new one.

Keith during one of his recurrent hand-biting attacks. Completely unprovoked. I think it's his way to say "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M BORED"!

Not trying to pick favorites from your flock, but I love Keith, Sesamo and of course Bubu. Do you have any sassy pictures of Bubu? I figure since he enjoys stealing, he must have a mug shot or two.

That's Jaid's favorite perch. I think he likes the cushy bra. It must be nice and soft on his feet like a rope perch... geez, only a bird lady thinks this way.

I had an adorable picture of him curled up and sleeping so peacefully there, but that's slightly inappropriate visualize image and would probably get me banned.

I'm sure they like the waterbed effect

It's very rare to catch Bubu with an angry face. Being a master manipulator, he always manages to appear cute.
This is him caught in my bedside table drawer, trying to decide whether he wants to nest or steal, daring me to scoop him up. He still looks cute, with those ridiculous feet sticking out :D
