Theme is "the dirtiest bird ever". Birds making a mess with food or other substances. Up to five entries per person, contest runs through February 24.

To start things off, here's my favorite 'Velociraptor Shodu' picture. When she eats red chard she looks like a blood-stained velociraptor devouring her latest victim. I especially enjoy the red juice that's in a circle around her nostrils.

Forfeit. I don't have anything. Mine are such neat freaks. (For boys.)

Was it fun cleaning her off?

She cleans herself off, I don't know how.

I modified the theme slightly to 'birds making a mess' rather than 'birds making a mess of themselves'. So it's eligible if they're making a mess of your house instead of their feathers.

Stephanie I thought it would be easier for you! You always say that your boys poop on each other... I was hoping to see the aftermath lol

I can never get a picture of it. And let's not forget I am only there half of the week. So I miss some good poop chances. Plus Carolyn's is going to be hard to beat.

What does Moon have on his face?

Snowy with poop on her forehead. It's not photoshopped even though it looks like it is. Her feathers are such a bright white that it messes up the exposure when I take a flash picture.
