We need to wrap this contest up, don't we? Mel, got any pictures of your caique to enter? I'm thinking of staying out of the contest myself - I've won too many times pretty much by default, and it's good to give someone else a chance.

After this contest is finished we can have our "Bird of the Year" vote for 2009. We're switching to a calendar year for this contest, so this year's vote will be more like the "Bird of the Last Year and a Half" to give a chance to all the winners since the last Bird of the Year vote.

I'm declaring Sally the winner of this contest since no one else entered. Her lovely little parrotlet is now featured on the main page of our website!



This ended up being the August-December photo contest. Let's hope that we have our act together better in 2010!
