Chicks who were raised by Buster and Shodu don't have crests because mom likes to snap them off. That's why Henry still doesn't have a crest at the age of 5 - he keeps offering his head to her. The Pip and Ladybug pair has plucking issues too but she likes to go for the back not the crest. Heidi is the daughter of Pip and Ladybug but she's fully feathered because she was raised by Vlad, Mims, and Snowy, and they don't pluck.

Heidi Piedy is a great name! Apart from sounding good, it makes me smile because in Italian Piedi means feet :D

Not used to seeing caiques around here. A ton of cockatiels though. Then I think budgies come right after and then parrotlets. 3 most common birds seen on here.
