As long as it's your picture it can be of any bird you like, past or present. And yes, that's close enough.

Dweezil is so cute!
I'm guessing the august contest is being pulled into september, since there's not many entries?

I'm just really bad about the deadlines for the contests lol. And I did want to get a picture of Dweeze in and didn't take one until today. I'm planning to start the vote tomorrow, so if anyone else wants to enter you need to post your pics!

It almost feels like cheating to enter a bird this gorgeous in the contest lol. The blue-green feathers on top of his head are kind of iridescent. I'm just amazed by his colors.

I looked up "king of wales parrot" but the parrot itself looked like an eclectus parrot. Are these the same? Or is it just the name that changes?

It's a "Princess of Wales" parrot (or parakeet), even if it's a boy bird. Sometimes I call him Princess Dweezil. Definitely not an ekkie.

I looked up "King of Wales parrot", and the result I got was the Australian King parrot.
I can see how that could be eclectus-like. Definitely not the same as Princess of Wales parrot, though.

Lol, confused it with "king of wales parrot" rather than "princess of wales parrot"!!
Sorry!
Hahaha! You're confusing Dweezil's sexual prefference!!
